I imagine that you would be guaranteed some darned strong leg muscles if you road that monster just a quarter mile per day for a month or two. Then again, whom am I kidding - a quarter mile must be like 50 miles on a regular bike, I doubt anyone without already super strong legs could get it and keep it going more than a couple of hundred yards at best - at least in the beginnig stages of riding it.

All the best,
GB

My legs got tired just watching that. Neat, though.

Are we sure it's not a "monster-unicycle" with training wheels? Til he gets up a full head of steam on that thing, it might be faster walking!

Impressive! I'd guess that that at speed, the wheel would have enough inertia to launch the rider if the brakes were powerful enough.

More cycle silliness:

I love the fact that people are biking and walking by, and no one is looking twice.

It would have been cool to see him negotiate a turn but it looks like he didn't even make that possible.

Did anybody notice he's going the wrong way on a one way street?

He needs to raise the seat up a little. He's not getting good leg extension. :) That's got to be tiring!

And I thought my bicycle was heavy. That tire's gotta weigh 300 pounds.
